HIRING: Divine Warrior Life Coaching

As an experienced Grant Writer, you play a critical role in securing financial support for our life coaching and empowerment program. You will be responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and other funding organizations. Your work will directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of our business, allowing us to reach and empower more individuals. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research and identity potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and goals
• Develop and write compelling grant proposals, ensuring they are well-organized, clear, and persuasive 
• Collaborate with program directors and other staff to gather necessary information for proposals
• Manage the entire grant submission process, including timelines, deadlines, and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records of all grant applications, submissions and funding received 
• Stay up to sate with trends in grant writing and funding opportunities within the life coaching and empowerment sectors
• Assist in developing a strategic plan for long-term grant funding 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experienced as a grant writer, with a successful track record of securing funding. 
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to understand and articulate the mission and goals of our business
• Familiarity with grant writing for life coaching, empowerment programs, and initiatives focused on women, especially within the black community. 
• Knowledge of funding sources and opportunities for small businesses and non-profits
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced in grant writing for black-owned businesses
• Background in life coaching, personal development, or related fields 
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal grant opportunities 
• Strong network within the grant-making community 

TERMS: 

• This is a contract position with flexible hours
• Compensation will be based on experienced and the successful acquisition of grants 
• The duration of the contract can be negotiated, with potential for renewal based on performance and funding availability
